Nishal was appointed to the Board of Directors during 2021 and has served as the CEO of the Group since 2017, under whose leadership the Company witnessed a remarkable period of growth and expansion amidst many external adversities. He has over 13 years of experience in functioning as an Executive Director and over 18 years of experience in the construction, manufacturing and trading industries. He currently serves as a Director of Flexospan Steel Buildings (Pvt) Ltd and Flexospan Bangladesh (Pvt) Ltd.

During his tenure, the Company listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange has won many accolades and was listed among the fifty most awarded companies and was the most awarded in the diversified sector. He was instrumental in setting up a state-of-the-art Research and Development Facility in Sri Lanka and a manufacturing plant in Bangladesh.

His academic background extends to Finance, Project Management and Business Administration. He is an Alumni at the Harvard Business School. He further holds an MBA from the University of Wales, an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from CIMA (UK) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management from University of Southern Queensland.

He was an Executive Director serving on the Board of a leading construction company in Sri Lanka at the age of 27 until he joined JAT.

Wasantha holds over three decades of experience in Sales, Marketing and Technical training in both local and international markets at JAT Holdings. He has pioneered the introduction of waterbased wood coatings to Sri Lanka. He brings in wide international exposure including specialized training and exposure working with business principals in Italy, UK and USA. He holds an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University, UK. Wasantha is a member of the panel of judges of the National Sales Awards Conducted by Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM – NSA).

Rizna joined JAT Holdings in 2015. She holds over 25 years of experience in Finance and Management in the manufacturing, retail and export trade. With her well-founded expertise and experience in finance and management, she provides effective direction to the Group’s financial strategy formulation. She is a Fellow Member (FCMA, CGMA) of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK.

Ajith joined JAT Holdings in October 2019 with 18 years of experience in the industry. He has completed his bachelor's degree in the field of Chemistry at University of Kelaniya and MBA at University of Colombo.

Shamara joined JAT Holdings in March 2019 with 13 years of experience. Prior to joining JAT, he has worked as the Senior Production and Quality Assurance Manager at a leading manufacturing and trading company and holds over 13 years of experience. He holds an MBA from the University of Colombo and a Bachelor’s Degree in BSc. (Hons) from University of Moratuwa specialising in Mechanical Engineering. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers, Sri Lanka and at the Japan Sri Lanka Technical and Cultural Association (JASTECA) Furthermore he is a certified 5S auditor.

Dilshan joined JAT Holdings in November 2019 and currently serves as Director – Sales & Marketing, bringing over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience in building, shaping, and leading both global and local brands. In his role, he drives the Group’s brand strategy, innovation agenda, and market expansion efforts, contributing to the continued strengthening of JAT’s corporate and product brand portfolio. He holds a degree in Computer Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in IT from Brunel University, UK, and an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), affiliated with the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK.

Dr. Beshan is Co-Founder, Director, and CEO of Volt Industrial Company (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of JAT Holdings PLC, focused on EV charging and high-tech engineering solutions. He previously co-founded Vega Innovations, where he led the development of South Asia’s first electric supercar and launched Chargenet and Aigrow. He spent nine years as an Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation and currently serves as an independent non-executive director of Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and as a UGC-appointed member of the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) Board of Management. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, both from Arizona State University.

Siva joined JAT Holdings in 1999. He has obtained an Associate Membership (ACA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Sri Lanka and holds an MBA in Finance from Cardiff Metropolitan University UK. He possesses industry experience of over 27 years and provides sound treasury management services.

Gavin commenced work at JAT in February 2007 and has over 15 years of industry experience related to sales and marketing in the specialised commercial interior sector. He has been instrumental in securing prestigious projects for the Company while actively contributing to the Company’s topline.

Nirosha joined JAT Holdings in February 2007 and is currently the General Manager – Commercial. She is a highly focused profit-oriented and enthusiastic team player who has over 20 years of experience including local and foreign exposure in various fields and industries such as exports to many countries in South Asian and African countries, imports, manufacturing, trading, printing, scheduling, planning and processing etc.

Sudath joined JAT Holdings PLC in April 2023 as General Manager – Human Resources, bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in Human Resource Management, Administration, and Quality & Compliance. He has previously served as Head of Human Resources at several leading Sri Lankan conglomerates. Sudath holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, affiliated with the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy (B.Ph) from the Pontifical Urban University in Rome. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Studies from the University of Colombo and a National Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Personnel Management (IPM), Sri Lanka, where he is also an Associate Member. Additionally, he is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) accredited by the International Coaching Federation and a certified instructor in Japanese Management under the training programme conducted by The Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association (HIDA), Japan.

Shalinda joined JAT Holdings in 2018 and currently serves as AGM – Head of IT and ERP, bringing extensive experience across information technology, enterprise systems, and digital transformation. In his role, he leads the Group’s IT function and oversees business application capabilities across the organisation, driving JAT’s digital transformation agenda while strengthening systems, processes, and operational efficiency across the business. Prior to joining JAT, he built experience across the corporate sector, following an academic career that included serving as a Demonstrator at the University of Kelaniya and as a Visiting Lecturer at the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education. He holds a BSc from the University of Kelaniya and an MSc in Information Technology from the University of Colombo. He is also affiliated with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
